Found this in a creek in North Central Arkansas. A place where I find a few points and lots of tools. It is split down the middle like it was 2 halves at one point.
To me it looks like a moccasin form or a mold. Actually two sizes, one on bottom and a smaller sized on top. I would say maybe just a natural formation just to cover my behind but the material is almost concrete like and different than any other substance I've handled from this particular creek. And the way it is split perfectly down the middle. What do y'all make of it if anything??

That's a pretty peculiar find! If that's natural I'm impressed by nature again. Sure looks like a form made for little feet. The fourth pic looks like a boot an elf would wear:dontknow:. Will be watching this.

Seriously it looks like a mold that might have been used in a shoe factory. I have found metal plates in the shape of a shoe in my area. But not made of stone or cement. See if there were any shoe factories in your area.

Aaaah, so that’s where we get the little bronze infant booties from. Super cool find.
