my wife and i have decided to take up treasure hunting, and are going to go after the belle starr cache supposedly by elk mountain.
i would love to chat with other hunters, especially if they have tried making the trek

I always thought the Turner Falls area of Oklahoma looked like a perfect looking western location. The stories of the outlaws hiding in the caves always made me want to go exploring. I don't know what the rules are governing metal detecting, but if I still lived close enough to visit, I'd look into it. I got married my first time in the great metropolis of Miami outside Tulsa so NeOk is not my favorite part of the state, lol. Sorry!
