Hello to everyone reading this thread. I am new to detecting and recently purchased my first detector, an ACE 250. I live on a 32 acre farm in Pennsylvania. The farm has been in my family for 6 or 7 generations, and the property itself has been in my family since Civil War time periods. My grandfather says one of our 2 barns could have been used in the civil war when confederate soldiers invaded a town 4 miles away. My aunt has a whole box of Native American Artifacts. I have wanted to detect this place for quite some time, and recently sucked it up and spent the 300 dollars for the ACE 250. I am excited to be apart of this forum for people who share a common interest. I wish you all the best of luck in detecting and hope you find what your are looking for.

Thank you for reading,

Get out there and hunt like the dickens.

Inside the barn would be a good bet.

Thanks Stefen the barn is packed full of junk but about 30 feet away, down 8 inches was a rusty old tractor seat fully intact.

32 acres!!! Wow... might be the only place you ever hunt. Good luck to you, you may in fact own your own honey hole!
