I would guess cavarly as they look like US Cavalry sabers and what looks to be some sort saddle bag or something. this is just me guessing though. could be some civilian design that put on whatever sword.

It is the insignia of the U.S. Armored Cavalry (tank corps). You can see similar examples if you do an image search for "armored cavalry buckle". The picture is upside down; it is more recognizable as the front view of a tank if you turn it over.
