I found this on the beach northeast of England, it is not something common here. It looks metallic and very very heavy. Hope someone knows what it is. Thanks

Probably pyrite. You can do streak and hardness tests to confirm.

I’ve found similar Illinois side of Lake Michigan. Pyrite was my conclusion.
