Hey y’all. Recently acquired this awesome old rocker and I’ve been trying to determine a possible age. It has seen a lot of use over the years—many of the screws have been replaced and the seat appears to have been replaced as well. Much of the original finish is worn off and rust from the original screws has bled into the wood. I believe it may be a hand made piece as there are noticeable irregularities in the shape of the frame. There is also a name etched into the bottom of the seat. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

1880's - 1890's factory made, I have worked on many of these, both structural repairs & recaned seats
Thanks for your input! What is your take on the name etched on the underside of the seat? Owner or maker?
