Help with dump banks?

So I am driving down to buffalo next week and thought I would try to search as many halves as possible, considering I'm from Canada and can't do it up here. Only problem is I'm down there for just 2 days, and I don't want to be stuck with thousands of dollars in American money that I can't spend in Canada, lol. On top of that I don't have any accounts with US banks, so I have no clue how I am going to dump these coins... Any suggestions? Thanks a lot, HH

Use some of the the money to open an account in the US and then cash the rest?

Find a bank that has branches in both the US and Canada?

Use halves to pay all your bills in the US.
