Can somebody help ID this. Normally I would put something like this with my junk finds. But this has the #86' stamped on it and I'am curious of what it could be & what 86' means. Metal could be brass or copper? A magnet will not stick to it. It was found at an old home site from late 1700's & live in until 10-15 years ago.
Hi Hoagie
I see you got your item marked solved. Is there a place to go to on treasure net to do this? or is there a button that i can push? Just asking.

I click the edit box in my post . Then I can click the drop down & change unidentified to solved. Then click save.
