Hi all, on a beach near a 1700s fort, in a single area I found these iron items. Not sure if they are period or not - or what they are. I’m wondering why two of the stake/spike like objects have like a iron sheath at the tip. And what the heck that spindly item is with the round top.

Thanks for looking.

Maybe overstepped my expertise, but I’m pretty sure the grain pattern showing in your spike indicates it was hand forged which would be a good sign if you’re thinking 1700’s

Thanks Matt - mine are likely more recent then. Although that curved S-shaped one has a hammered rosetip head which I read were common in late 1700s
