Yeah, that is a real challenge in narrowing down the multitude of particular artists and their paintings. I will say that one is really nicely done if anything. I wish you luck in narrowing down who it was that created that fine art. I just have little confidence in searching for so many artists who've painted pictures, unless I can clearly read the name and that name comes up in an instant on Google search. It is then I might consider purchasing the work. This is one I bought because the signature was easy as heck to read and the artist Mary Compeau Cir. 1990 came up on a search instantly. She has a website and produces prints, but this one is her original work. I knew my Pennsylvania born and raised wife would really like it, so I got it for her.

Thank you. That is a very well done piece as well. I've always liked those old barn paintings.

My wife likes scenes like these in art, because it reminds her of the area she grew up. I generally avoid wall art, due to lack of knowledge on them. I do run into this lady who shops at the places I go and she'll show me on her phone some of the art she's bought and sold and she's done really well on some.

Artslinger,

I could possibly be a Peter F. Lund work. Your painting could be signed P Lund 95? Good luck and nice find!

PETER F. LUND (American, 1846-1898)

It looks a lot like his work. Take a look at this auction site of his work.

It looks like he liked signing his work with First initial Last name and date.

Thank you very, very much. I was completely baffled, and you have given me an incredible possibility. I sincerely thank you for your time and valuable information. I will follow up on it. Thanks again, all the best.

Thank you, I truly appreciate it. I found it behind another painting at a garage sale. A more modern one was covering it. As I got close to it, I could see that it was an older piece. I asked how much, probably was like $5, paid and brought it home. It's been hanging on my wall. I gave it a shot several times, but gave up on the signature. I decided to post it here, and thankfully you were able to find the possible artist. I've looked at mine, and his other pieces, and sure enough, there is a strong resemblance on the style, strokes, and preference in colors. My sincere thanks again. Truly, truly appreciate it.
