Alright, I heard of a local location from 2 different people that has given up some small marble sized nuggets. A contractor dug one while installing a corrugated pipe under a roadway and another guy found one detecting in a dry wash in the same area.

These are completely random. There has been lode claims in the mountains up above. The washes don’t appear to be in bedrock. Only gravels.

Any ideas on what type of area to look for that might contain a nugget?

It makes sense that if there are steeper areas of the washes then they may/probably lie on bedrock or false bedrock and have some bedrock outcroppings.
