There is a yard sale at a local church tomorrow morning. They posted these preview pictures. There are a couple of things I am curious about and was hoping someone might be able to help me. I am curious about the large ornate bowl, the clock and the record player in the 1st pic and in the 2nd pic the item in the center back.. The figure that looks like its is for some sort of balancing act?? I know probably not the best description lol. Does anything stand out to anyone???
I plan to be there well before the doors open!!
Thank You in advance! 12473_10201042592613705_74207761_n.jpg 17786_10201042593253721_743218857_n.jpg

Nice looking stuff. I would offer $20 for the kangaroo and the silverplate centerpiece.Depending upon condition, the kangaroo will get your money back (at least) and the centerpiece will be all profit. It should sell well if you clean and polish it first. The phonograph is missing the horn but should still sell well if you can get it cheap enough. Even if you piece it out. I would check out the clock in that photo also. The ballerina in the other photo (I do believe) actually sits on the wooden vase looking thing, to the right, in front of it. Don't know much more than that except it looks unique but a little too shiny for me, may be modern?? Good luck, here is the completed listings for the kangaroo-

That phonograph looks very simular to the one I have. No horn needed it is built in. Open the two front doors, that is the volumn control. I bought mine in Brighton, England and lugged it back to SoCA about 25 years ago. I paid about $50 back then. Since then I have completely rebuilt it. Only problem with those is the thumb screw that tightens up the needle strips the threads in the head.

I also got the balancing act wood figure, but it doesn't want to balance. I spent $3.00 on it. I could only find one ebay listing for it in google images but the link will not work.
