On this 1968 nickel the S is stamped over a D or a P and just not sure which one and the fs initials look double died. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

There wouldn't be a "P", as those were War Nickels only.
Fairly old tho, for the average nickel, in one's pockets...!
Your coin is in pretty good shape, for it's age...!
Did you dig it...??

Welcome to Treasure Net...!

Coins can be very tricky after years of use damage ect many coins look like there is damage or errors. Im not saying yours isn't a double stamp your best bet is to go to a coin dealer. They can hold it in hand and examine it with a loop usually at no charge.Good idea to get opinions my computer is being wacky so I cant see the pics very well.

It doesn't look like a double die, just looks like 50 years of wear. Those small initials get smushed/rubbed out very easy. Decent shape for a 50 year old nick though. Welcome to the Tnet

Judging by your photos and the hits on the coin, I'd say it's just PMD.....Post Mint Damage.
