Hi I found this in waterford Ireland same as one found on this site slanted edge and same size

Much better pictures Patrick. To me it looks like letters on it . Does it look that way to you ?Maybe someone on here can tell you the best way to clean it up

Im not sure slanted edgs and afther that anyone's guess the as nks for the reply I'm new to all all

Well it was a coin or token but not enough for me to ID it.
Probably in the late 18th - 19th C bracket.
Just need to find one in better condition.
I've had a couple of Hammered Waterford mints. (pretty scarce find over here)

Maybe but what bothered me about that ID when excluding it was there seems to be a T before the O?!
I think a half penny is likely of its not a Token.

I can,t help with your ID Patrick but welcome to Tnet.if you can clean it up a bit,RedCoat is the guy most likely to ID it for you. He,s from UK and has much knowledge. I,m from Arkansas,U.S.
Pass on my info as I'm new to all this but have tryed for hours and can't come up with much

Thanks every time I look at it it's looks different. I'm thinking around the same but ant pinpoint a picture to the SE markings I'm new to metal detectoring and I say it's the oldest thing I found I'll be going back to thaw field once the corn has cropped
