Got a couple of hours in walking where at one time a small town country store stood, from my research it burnt to the ground around 1940 , this place has never failed me over the years! I've recovered around

20 to 25 silver coins , even a couple of seated dimes , today it was 3 Barber dimes 1898,1908 and 1904 and 3 wheats that are fried ! But I was able to make out 1910 on one of them. The gun was close to the edge of the field and I believe it was lost by someone or discarded.

I noticed a little blue paint on the derringer & I searched a bit and found this that looks a little bit similar to yours. Once you clean it up a bit maybe you can find some writing to indicate the maker.
Very cool find and I love the silvers too. Nice spot you have there.
Everyone's dream is to find the site of an old country store. Congrats!!
