Actually is raining here in Denver, (Never Happens) so I decided to post some old finds. These are various hotel claim checks, or key attachments. Top two are from out of state, and the bottom is so far an unknown location to me. Thanks for looking,

Here is some info on your hotel tag for the Swineford in Auburn, Indiana. Also a link to a old picture and the info I am posting. When you go to the link click on the picture and it will take you to the info about the hotel.

Auburn Hotel

Located at 301 South Main Street, on the southwest corner of 9th and Main streets, Auburn, Indiana. Taken in June, 1974 by Roberta Andres

History:

The Swineford House was build around the late 1870’s, located on the southwest corner of 9th and Main streets. There were 36 guest rooms

The Swineford house was sold by Perry Haffley to Donald Foust on December 6, 1915.

In 1919, Mr. Foust remodeled the old Swineford House into the Auburn Hotel. It was one of the finest in Indiana at that time and was operated by Mr. Foust into the 1970’s.

It is presently owned by Roger Eddy of Portland Oregon and is used for room rental on Labor Day weekend during the Auburn Cord Duesenberg days. During the rest of the year rooms are rented out.

Thank a bunch for the info. One of the first good non-coin relics I dug. Never thought I'd find out any info. Thank you again,
Carl
