You and me both! I'm having so much fun!
Well, fifty years ago one needed a lot of patience, there were no discriminating detectors, nor were there any pinpointers so one had to dig all targets and the sift through the dirt holding handsful over the coil to find the target. You are both right though, silver all over the place, no aluminum screw tops, permissions easy to get and plenty of great relics in many places. Hunting fifty years ago was amazing!
