You can click on it and still get photo. It might be that the photo is too large, try making it smaller and try again.

Greetings deplorable,
I'm using an older HP Pavilion PC and editing with Adobe Photo Deluxe 10. I'm using Jpeg format and have tried downsizing till you can't even tell what the photo is. All that shows up in the post is View attachment 1624930

Yup again. Saw another thread suggesting opening up in Chrome to post pics. No luck! All I can get is
" View attachment 1685441 ". Been on this site since 2017 and still can't get a picture posted. Of course it's human error but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Well this is interesting!!! As soon as I posted the above message my pic showed up! Then the screen went away and it shows up as an attachment. If I click on it it opens. Not really the way I want to post a picture, I'd really like to see that what I'm posting is the one I want there. Again, any suggestions?

When that Happens Go back in and Double Post your Pic(s)
or try changing the title of your pics.

I usually need to double post like this

FORT DIETRICK SNYDER.gif FORT DIETRICK SNYDER.gif

when it happens then one shows

EDIT--the "attached thumbnail" pictures (the quilt and the screenshot in previous post) that are showing were accidentally added. How can I delete them when editing a previous post?

Eborac: You can easily reduce the size of an image using PAINT.

Right click on the image, and select "Open With", and PAINT.

In the Status Bar, select "Resize". I usually start with 50%.
Get it to the size you want, and click the "Save" tab.

For best results on the internet, an image with 1000 pixels
on the longest side is about right.
