Slower day - but real nice outside for Michigan in December.....I found 2 spoons, a fork, a Duncan Yo-Yo and a nice cap gun.....It says HUB on it.
My second mostly complete cap gun for the year..... now I got one for each hand. I'm surprised I didn't mangle it. I'm hunting an old yard in which you can only dig down about 2 inches before you encounter a massive web of roots. I saw the trigger guard and recognized it as such, so I was able to work it out. Miraculously the HUB still works. LOVE IT.

Great find, all the cap guns I have found all needed some doctoring. Looks like yours is ready for some caps!

That's a great find bmc... you know you're old when you remember using these kind of toys! :laughing7:
It always amazes me how well these toy guns stand up to being buried in the ground.

Great finds! I've found lots of pieces but not a whole gun yet!

HUB = Hubley the made cap pistols and its a copy of a colt. You can tell by the cylinder release. Of course it does not release but that’s whose copy they made it from. Thanks those are some really cool old finds.
