Hello again Forum,

Happy New Year!

I need some military experts to chime in on the two button looking things in my original post with the letter T on them. It’s really bugging me I don’t know what they are. The area that they were found is deep in the woods. There was a lot of military, early settlers, and fur traders passing through. Now just hikers so they could be old or new.

The spoon is broken, but still old and a good find. The valve I suspect could be a vent valve for heating a home. I cleaned it up. It would be neat to re-purpose it.

Yes, I've seen this type of valve before now that I think of it, maybe from a home boiler. Or to release excessive water from the tank.
