Hunted 3 State's....Comp day..

Took off today because I worked X-mas eve last year and had a freebee coming.Decided to hit the tri-state area, started out in VA only because I can't hunt the MD side(NPS) and the C&O canal is off limit's so I went across the river just to poke around and get the feel for the place, left the White's in the truck and pretty much eye-balled everything you see, this town started out in 1728 and is part of the Highland Indian Trail, hoping to eyeball some point's but with no luck, moved onto MD to try and locate some old foundation's that I saw on an old map but I think the state already got to them for the exit ramp's from what I can see.About an hour of daylight left went back into WV and tried the "bulldozer" field where I've been finding some CW bullet's but had no luck. All within 20 or so mile's.Here's my find's,mostly in VA...The one spoon I dated from around 1881,the other two are from the 1950's....alot of pottery shard's and a bottle that has "AA" on it,imagine that....Found the old "Structo Toy" while looking for the foundation's just wrapped in the ivy next to a tree. Also found a rock that look's like it is one of those fire starter rock's,pretty worn.Gonna try and post it on the Indian Artifact's post.Thank's for lookin' and HH!!

Civil,

nice artifacts.

Cannot tell from photo; top of bottle is it a screw or cork?

Tried looking up "AA", nothing yet. Will keep trying.
Any markings on bottom of bottle?

Hey Sherm..,it's a screw on,as far as marking's on the bottom,it read's....704 with a I or a 1 in the middle of the 0 and then on the opposite side has a I.. Found alot of cork topped bottle's today but they were all broken, maybe next time.....Also read's 1/10 pint..

Nice finds! From the picture it looks like your stone is a small nutting stone used by the indians.
