I finished work with some time to spare so I stopped at a field/park on my way home. First hole pops out a 1908 King Edwards VII Penny. That's my oldest Fl coin to date.

Oh my goodness! What a coincidence, a British coin in Florida? It's old too! I wonder how it got there. Maybe a small boy went to britain, and came back with the coin. He played with it a bit in a park or field, or treasured it and brought it with him everywhere, and lost it one day at that very park.

Nice find, though!

Any park in Tampa would be old. I've found many old coins in Tampa especially when they were digging up Yebor city.
