Not much detail. I’d guess 1930 ish because the one screw showing appears not to have a slot but instead a Phillips or Allen head.

the bolt cocking knob looks like a 1903 Springfield, however the rest doesn't look right.
Also the trigger and guard do not ring any bells, so to speak

I don't think it a gun part.
Reminds me more of a window latch rods the teacher would use to open and close those high windows in the class room.

I was thinking 22. That round thing in the breech does not line up with the screw looking thing.

Well, you have a "bolt-action" rifle bolt,
but the lower item might not be related,
altho it does look like a trigger mechanism

Yep, this is exactly what I was thinking. I am old enough to have had one. Considering the thin metal is still intact, though heavily rusted, I would put it somewhere around the late 60's to early 70's.
