I had to save one from his watery entrapment, & pretty sure the other Turtle is a different one.

Getting Old , It's shell is darker; I think.

Yeah, we have one in our back yard. My wife has really taken a liking to her and makes sure she had plenty of fruit to eat.

I had a Smaller one back in the 90's 'for 6 years' named him ? Taylor as I found him on RR tracks in Taylorsville Ga..

He was in a Big fish tank , with heat rocks but tho he was by a window , I never got him a UV light, so I was drunk one day & decided to put him in the late Spring Sun , forgot about him for 30 min & He was Gone, looked Hours for him.

Said a prayer & hope he is doing well.

He'd be all grown up now , with a tear in my eye'

BTW If I recall right the Males have the 'More' Red Irises in their eyes.

Look's like a Male , funny I got a picture of one last week that looked Mad in it's eyes.

BTW If I recall right the Males have the 'More' Red Irises in their eyes.

FWIW, my wife says male turtle's underside is slightly concave (curved inward) while female turtle's underside is flat.
