I was just out for a nice walk and my AT kept trying to play jokes.
First it wouldn't start up, then, at one point it started a stream of signals that were
coming so fast I couldn't understand them. Then, I noticed it was still doing it while sitting still.

Turns out I was standing next to one of those ground generator connection boxes. LOL

Then, as I was trying a tot lot, (in honor of Msbeepbeep), it uncovered just the edge of a gold looking
coin. But, I said, no, no, no, I'm not biting:

HAH!

So, it tried turning up the heat a bit.

2015 (361).jpg

I gotta admit, he had me, but only for a second or two.
I still shook my head and said, naaaaaaaahhh.....

2015 (362).jpg

He was playing pretty hard! :)

2015 (363).jpg

Nah, see? I told ya! (whew!! :) )

All in all, not such a terrible day. :)

Thanks for peeking!

I've actually been to Chucky Cheese once, and don't want to go back! I'd rather be in Margaritaville! Good stuff, keep it coming

Nice finds! Thank you for the kind thoughts and deeds! I see everyone was pleased with your finds! :icon_thumright:

Those detectors really like to pull the gold coin ruse a lot! Mine would have laughed out loud at me. Good thing you didn't fall for it.

There has been at lest 4 people mentioning some kind of underground electrical interference with their detectors recently.
This Sunday I shall hit ye 'ole tot lot I found....I'm hoping!
If I run into electrical interference there I would consider it very strange. :icon_scratch:

Me thinks your parrot need a bottle to perch upon. :laughing7:

Underground dog fences, electric fences...I have had both those, but oddly a big portion of the fields I normally hunt have high voltage transmission lines and they do NOT give me any problems. Go figure!

Ha! I just found my first Chuck-E-Cheese coin the other day. Sadly, as I was brushing it off, I thought to myself "it's facing to the right!"

Transmission lines may be better shielded. I removed the coil cover thinking that was the problem, nope! Then I got to thinking with that much electrical current in wet ground maybe I shouldn't be standing there and digging. Makes ya wonder!

Usually, I don't either. But like Msbeepbeep said, I reconsidered where I was swinging and moved a bit further away. Probably a combination of wet, worn shielding, activity. :dontknow: It is good at picking up dog fences. :)

The letter P is still a mystery! It has a loop at the top. Looks like zipper pull but I don't think so if it's from the 1930's.
I'm guessing pendant, or watch fob?

I was going to ask about the letter P thing too, I have found two of them and no clue what they're about.

Nice finds, looks like another fun day
