i wonder that these amber looking objects aren't a natural material i found on beach

i comb the beach alot. looking for shells and what not. i found these amber things and saved them.
it's quite possible they are a manmade material, but i'm not convinced

To test for plastic straighten a paper clip, grt it red hot and touch it to an inconspicuos area and see if it smells of plastic?

There are probably only two real choices. Amber or plastic beads. For plastic they are a bit crude.

i tried to see if it was plastic by means of the melting experiment. and i was diligent. i figured if it was plastic, this was a good way to find out.
there was no melting or burning plastic odor. luckily it cleaned up with the use of white petroleum jelly (Vaseline)
