I finally found a site that I think may yield interesting artifacts. I was only able to metal detect for 10 or 15 minutes but did manage to find these two pieces. Can anyone ID or help me identify the time period?

Thanks! I'm so excited to have finally found a place that may yield something other than modern day trash. 8-)

the first item i would bet on being a broken shoe buckle frame fragment a very nice ornate "open work" type . probably from the 1760's to the 1780's
