Identifying Face to a Wristwatch

Dug this face to a wristwatch last week. All I know is that the property I found it on has been in use since the early 1900s and continues to be used to this day. There appears to be a word written on the front that starts with the letter "F" but I can't make it out. If anybody can tell me the brand name or date of manufacture I'd be very grateful.

My guess was 1930s as well. I found one similar in some park woods in WI. Can't help with the name though.
