Hi All !

I have a Tesoro Bandido II µMax metal detector and the coil cable has 5 pins connecting it to the control box.

When they were first sold by Tesoro did their 5 Pin coil cables have a name, and what was it ??

Thanks,

ToddB64

Hi Steve13457 !

Thanks for the info..

In answer to "Is that your question ?", Yes, assuming that's when the 5 pin coil cables were first sold by Tesoro , per my post.

Good deal. Im a newbie, I was doubting myself, thought maybe Tesoro might have called them something else in the beginning.....

In the beginning it was Tesoro's only coil.

GeoW,

I appreciate your help, but can you be more explicit ? In other words, are you saying that "In the beginning the Epsilon 5-Pin Coil was Tesoro's only coil" ?

That would "nail it down" for me ! ;)

Thanks in advance,

Yes, for the first several years Tesoro's only coil was 5 pin.

The Tejon, Cibola, Vaquero, and Lobo all came later and use the 4 pin coil. These were called the H.O.T coils or the High Output Technology coils.
