Dug this near an old Indian village/trading site associated with the English. Any ideas?
Thanks for posting. It could very well be from an old leaf spring or possibly a pipe hanger. I am no expert but it seems much more recent than Indian days. Interesting.

Just a wag but I’m thinking that’s a decorative foot for a wooden table or chair leg.
