I inherited my fathers old Tesoro Royal Sabre a few years ago and took my grandson detecting for the first time (for both of us) he loves the hunt and the dig, he’s 9. I think we are ready to get something decent that’s a little easier to use. Looking here for ideas and information. It appears this forum is a wealth of information and friendly. Looking forward to learning and detecting with my grandson!

Great idea and I think I may have found a dealer that is very knowledgeable and friendly and has a club/ group that meets up regularly.
