Normally I don't bother to post rocks I find as most I know are just thst regular rocks. However this one I've had awhile and been curious about it. I found it somewhere here in California can't remember where exactly as it's been awhile. I was leaning maybe on petrified wood as it often does have the red hues like this one does but still not sure exactly. If anyone has an idea what it is or needs other pictures please let me know I really appreciate it.

I agree with Timbermaster, because long ago while rock-hounding in NE Alabama's famous Paint Rock Valley I found several specimens of "multicolored" Jasper which look a LOT like your find (except the colors in mine were red & yellow instead of red & green).
