Hi y'all. I'm Tom in Salinas, CA. I never even knew there was any other CA specific md'ing forums. The only one I knew of is the Kinzli California detecting forum:

To get to the main page (where everyone discusses sites, finds, etc...) you have to become a member. But it just takes a moment (pick a name, password, etc..).

I've been detecting about 30 yrs, since I was in Jr. High. Got 10 gold coins so far, about 30 reales, etc.. Anyone else here get in on the big El Nino winter beach storms of 1982-83?
