Better pictures needed, yours are out of focus. Clasp appears to say 14k, but out of focus so cant be positive. do an acid test to be sure it is gold, acid test kitss are not expensive.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of fakes with 14k stamps on them. A quick and dirty test that will tell you if It’s definitely NOT gold is to hold it next to a strong magnet. It it sticks or is attracted to the magnet at all it’s not gold. But even if it isn’t magnetic at all you still want to test it,

I believe jewlery makers normally use gold plating on this sort of chain style. Maybe 1950-1967? I do not understand how it could be ,"all one piece" if it is a chain? And I have never seen an American made chain Aah ha, the links are identical...

Just poppin back in on this one... seems the OP abandoned it.

From the photos that ARE posted ... My instinct and initial sight of it says brass plated.

I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but on every link it looks like the opposite side is gold one straight line going back and forth zigzagging and the other part doesn't look like gold I'm so confused 20220702_190250.jpg 20220702_190245.jpg 20220702_190238.jpg 20220702_190229.jpg 20220702_190209.jpg

Need Gold tester, the acids are not that expensive, $20-$30 for a good kit. I have found rings marked 14k and they failed the 10k test.

Sorry ... but in my opinion this chain is not real.

I say this simply due to the overall look of it... the color seems way off... brass / copper "ish".
Magnet test would have no affect on either of these metals as well... just so you know.

Its the color that is the "tell" here.

Not magnetic
Brass is not magnetic as well. I would get an acid kit to test your gold if you are going to want to know if the jewelry you find is precious metal. I have found rinks stamped 14k that wouldn't pass 10k test.
