I found this small pebble in north of UK, don't remember exactly where. Thought it is a coral fossil in limestone. I tumbled it. Today I had a look under microscope, it looks like a bug to me? Any advise? Many thanks.
Hello, it appears to be a trilobite.Very cool. It looks like a bunch of fossilized little creatures.
Thanks so much!Hello, it appears to be a trilobite.
Trilobite. For the Eumetazoan phylum, see Trilobozoa. Trilobites ( / ˈtraɪləˌbaɪts, ˈtrɪlə -/; [4] [5] [6] meaning "three lobes") are extinct marine arthropods that form the class Trilobita. Trilobites form one of the earliest-known groups of arthropods.
