Is this pre-1900's Silver Ring and another What is it?

I was searching a ballfield not far from where I found a holed 1872 silver dime and other items that dated late 1800's to 1910's. And found this ring. Knew it was silver when it popped out even though there are no markings/stamps on inside. It was just too shiny. Tested with 18k gold acid and it turned blue. Also has an area on it where it was cut and soldered back together. It left the outside smooth where they soldered back together. I'm thinking it's late 1800s? From design, no markings and crude solder job. I also found this copper object that at first I thought was a buckle but it's too thin and hooks on back look weird. Maybe a picture frame? Thanks for any advice.
