Annual vacation to Isla Mujeres Mexico was a bit disappointing. 9 Days. Rainy and windy all but about two hours. Post hurricane and tropical storm. Found a spot where beach had eroded about thirty feet. Started finding older pesos from the seventies and early eighties. This honker popped out.

Only was able to get out three more times. Was rewarded with a beautiful 10k diamond/emerald bracelet.

Although the weather was horrible, we enjoyed the trip as much as we could. Here are a few pics of our adventure.

That ring is quite unique it must have been an award for most sales from 1976 to 1980 or something like that in that company. Beautiful tennis bracelet.

Wow, great finds in a great location !!! I was there many years ago before I started metal detecting. I remember swimming & hanging onto a big sea turtle I caught splashing around in a large sea turtle pen out in deep water. Several locals started waving at me, I finally figured out they were trying to get me out of the water as the pen also had lots of 🦈 sharks 🦈 . Beautiful place that probably has changed a lot since I was last there.

What a stroke of luck. It's hard to say that the trip was terrible. You have found such jewelry. Even despite the bad weather, the journey to Mexico itself is already an adventure.
A vacation in Mexico is my long-standing dream. Until now, I had neither the time nor the money for such a trip. This year I decided to relax somewhere closer to home. The whole family went to a ski resort. I really like a vacation in the mountains, it has its own magic. Besides, I love skating. One of the significant advantages is that I can awaken my children's love for sports this way.
