It Finally Happened Today. I Got the Boot at Belle Isle.

Here is the story folks. Remember you read it here first.

Detecting away out in the muck and get a nice solid mid tone. I sure was hoping for a gold ring but no. Got the boot!



Anyway, two silver rings, a silver religeous pendant and a 1964 quarter were my silver finds. Another 1901 8 gauge shotgun head stamp. And a few other odds and ends.









The nickel is a 1948.

Rats! I thought for sure everyone would be thinking another ScubaDetector police encounter. The fact is the police boat has been out there four different times and has left us alone. I think I won't have any more adventures with them out there.

That boot has got to be very old. Solid leather, including the sole and a solid brass buckle.

Congrats on the finds and maybe the matching one is out there full of gold, silver and all the stuff you've been looking for. And yeah, I figured you'd had another run in with the police.
