I found it next to a skeleton buried hoker style
With silver coin
Very honest. I won't ask any further question on that but will ask or share an observation;
Normally burial goods are complete when placed in the grave. Over time they can break but I wonder what happened to the bird's head on the top of the lid?
You break it?
Already broken when put in the grave (might indicate it was Antique when placed)
Any other theories on the missing part?
