Howdy folks

Just arriving in Fallon, NV for work. I'm planning on being in the area for a few months an was wondering if anyone could point me in the general direction for some nugget shooting. I've been doing some research, and most of the information I'm finding is about Rye Patch, which is only about an hour and a half north of my location. I'm super leery of mistepping on somebody's claim, though. Any hints or tips on this area would be welcome, or on any other areas of western NV. I'm not looking to get on anyone's "secret spot", just a place I can do some swinging and have at least a small chance of finding some AU.

I'm also open to meeting up of anyone wants some company on a hunt. My work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off, so I'm available to do a bit of travel as well.

Thanks for any info that you can provide,
-NZ49er.

Welcome to the Forum!

I was stationed at Fallon when it was a smaller Auxiliary Naval Air Station in '69 - '70.

Loved the area!
