I think some people would call this a heartbreaker - not me! I love her just the way she is.. I realize it's a sad day when I start referring to my artifacts as "her"...

The best part about it is that I found it walking hand in hand with my 2 year old in a creek and let him pull it out!

I think it's a Dixon (early woodland in Illinois) and would love to hear your thoughts..

Awesome find! My 2-year-old granddaughter loves going to our creek. She screams "it's a rock, it's a rock", and carefully "wash" es it and looks at it before chucking it back into the water. What a special day for you and your son!
