I was in the front yard of a home built in 1891 searching close to the sidewalk but on a little rise. I had gotten 3 wheat pennies in a row all 1930s and 40s when I got another signal bouncing between 26 and 27 on my Nox. I dug the plug to about the same depth as the wheats, about 6 inches. I lost the target at one point but soon realized I had already gotten it out of the hole as my pinpointer located it. I saw the silver edge and the “one dime” side at the same time. Washing it off carefully I saw it was an 1892 S. When I got home I found out it was a semi key date as only 990,000 or so were made!

You had me hoping to see an 1895-O, but pic 3 showed an S, so a 95-S would be a great one as well. 92-S is super sweet, and yours has that beautiful black toning- Congrats!!
