I was able to get out for a few hours here and there but it has been too hot for an all day hunt .I found 8 Wheat pennies, another Hershberger Garage 5 cent token from the 1930's in much better shape than the one I found in the spring, A few colonial buttons, one pewter, a flat button, and the smallest button I have ever dug, an ornate buckle, a Shriners pendant, a gold plated brooch of some sort, an old bale seal, a model T ignition points, and a Colonial copper, a King George I half penny. It isn't in the best shape and I could not get a date because the back is wasted, but they were minted from 1714 to 1727. Still very happy with that old piece of 300 year old history. Happy hunting and stay hydrated. Thanks for looking. IMG_0001.webpIMG_0002.webpIMG_0003.webpIMG_0004.webpIMG_0005.webpIMG_0006.webpIMG_0008.webpIMG_0010.webp

Congrats on the KGI. I have found 8 or 10 of them overall, but haven't found one in years.

I've found a good number of KGII and KGIII's but this is the first KGI. I was hoping for a date but the back was toasted pretty bad.

I really like that buckle, and at least you can ID that copper. Congrats on some nice finds.

Cool KG1 and other nice finds! :icon_thumleft:
