Hello was out again at the bosses sons site found another large one cent coin 1947. I have to say its like the gift that keeps on giving. The count is up to four. Working a large field.Too large. all  1.jpg all.jpg Yes the first one I found was the one with the hole in it but it was still a cool fine.

I agree with Toasted, the coin in the upper left corner is a Hard Times token. On the reverse, it says "Not One Cent" and the obverse has a picture, not a bust. That is also a great find along with your Large Cents.

I agree with Toasted, the coin in the upper left corner is a Hard Times token. On the reverse, it says "Not One Cent" and the obverse has a picture, not a bust. That is also a great find along with your Large Cents.

Shags and I were together when that Token came out of the ground. Look close at the back of that thing. It's been altered. Somehow the "E" in "CENT" Is now a "U" Thats my favorite find out of that spot. Glad to have been there.
