This is a point I found on a construction site here in Florida. It is Paleo looking kind of like a Simpson or Cow House.
Really rough and stacks on the one side where the material just wasn't that good. What I thought was a nick in the side is actually where a small clam shell
fell out of the piece. I like it because its old and knarly but there are a lot of Florida Paleos much nicer. It's been a long dry spell for me so I'll take it. Site has produced dozens of nice sharks teeth, fossil bone & what looks like a tool made from an antler.

That is knarly Newnan but at least you found something in this crazy heat. I have no clue on type. Looks like they had a little trouble napping it out.

I believe I read somewhere once that antler tools were used for chipping and shaping points. Is that so? Anyway, cool find!
