All headphones will break sooner or later. The ones that seem to last the longest are the wireless ones. I won't even use a wired one anymore on a land machine, unless I have to.

They work well with the couple of detectors I tried them with. They are noise-cancelling and do a great job at blocking outside noise and making faint targets able to be heard. I did find them to be pretty tight on my head which caused me to sell them. There is a wide range of prices so be sure to check prices everywhere. I believe I paid about 35-40 bucks for mine. They are well made.

One more thing about these phones. I don't believe they have a compatability switch(stereo-mono) Make sure they will work with your F44.
