Hello,

This is the first point of this type that we have found and are hoping to get some help in identifying. It was found in Central Missouri. It is 3 1/4” long by 1” wide. Any help is appreciated.

It looks to have a lot of mineral content. So it is likely for decoration only and is too frail and will easily chip off if used.

Looks potentially paleo, I don’t see a flute and I don’t really see ears or the bell shape like a dalton I’d go angostura.

Thank You. We were leaning toward a Wadlow and were looking for confirmation for that being what it was. We've never found any Paleo in the area where we found this so Wadlow would fit the time.

I’d lean wadlow too, the more I think about it, the flaking is a bit rough for your average paleo and it’s not the highest quality material.
