Large Cent & Indian+Cameo appearance

Had a good day in the lake again today, bought a new 5x8 coil for my ATP and it worked really good picking out some targets in the sea of iron nails. Found a nice 1918 Canadian Large cent, and a 1889 Indian head penny. The cameo ring is really nice, it seems to have some age to it. The lake is really nice to the copper coins they come out very clean, the silvers all are a dull black.

Nice finds. I got the 5x8 a few years ago and it's been on my Pro ever since! It's a good little coil.

Nice finds the water is good to the coins

Nice finds like that old ring..

Nice hunt! We're you able to get any ID on that ring? , it looks really nice.
Arent the lakes up there frozen?

Luckily I live in southern BC and it's been warm lately it was tshirt weather yesterday !...waters still a bit cold though.

I tried a hot needle on the cameo ring and it didn't melt,it looks to carved out of a type of shell and it's set in brass

Warmer than it is here. Seems like the only time that it would be warm in BC would be maybe July or August but I quess its all relative. If it ain't nearly bath water I aint gettin' in it.

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures with us

Nice digs. The ring looks nice.
