Great job, bud! My group focuses on this type of hunting style as well. Between 4 dudes, we have 30 total coppas. We have some virgin Colonial sites to hit this fall, so hopefully that tally increases. HH, buddy!

MM and I are trying to locate some old roads in NC. We have been inspired to try by Kirk and DonNJ ect.. Some people have showed us old roads, but they all have lead into swamps and overgrown poison ivy.

Just wondering. What kind of old map would be good for North Carolina? I know there was an old stage road from Raleigh to Wilmington.

Congratulations on your Colonial Coppa! Thanks for posting it!

Dude, you just don't get it!!!! LOL  Colonial coins are from the states that were part of the original 13 colonies before we had federal coinage!  That's why they are called "Colonial Coins".  When was Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, etc part of the 13 colonies LOL.  I would suggest some History classes at the local community college!!!!!!  ASAP!!!!!!

BTW JFX, WTG on the Colonial and Large Cents!!!!

i also always give a few coins to the landowner but most of the time they just say no you keep em you found em / just be honest with folks and doors open. most of the time(some due say no) respect that and just move on. but most folks around here are nice people and just say have at it. H/H-!

The history value is priceless :) What is the most valuable of your great collection? Just wondering since I know very little about coins :-[ Absolutely a fantastic post and can't wait to see more of your finds :)
