Took a picture of this one after I flipped it over. I’t seems to fit the Wading River Type quite well. White quartz with (what I would call) formation welded seams. I’ve enhanced the photo to better reveal this flaw. I have other artifacts with this same formation feature.

I didn’t get a field photo of this one. The ID on this one should be a Beekman Triangle. It’s made of a very high quality quartz. It’s banged up and well polished and any remnants of edge grinding are long gone. But dimensions are spot on. (Transitional Archaic:4700 BP)

I've never heard the term "welded seams" before. We call those healed fractures. Same thing, different state! Gary
